Meet Dr. Lee
Hello, I’m Dr. EunJoo Lee. I am board-certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in child/adolescent psychiatry as well as in general psychiatry. I trained for my general psychiatry residency at the University of Southern California + Los Angeles County Hospital and completed my child/adolescent fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL.
I specialize in medication management for a wide range of psychiatric conditions. I take a collaborative, compassionate approach to care, blending evidence-based treatment with a deep respect for each person’s unique story. I prescribe medications conservatively and work to optimize non-medication options first, especially for the most vulnerable young patients. I work closely with individuals and families to help them feel more understood, empowered, and hopeful.
I have a special interest in the medication treatment of children, adolescents and young adults with developmental disorders and neuropsychiatric conditions. I enjoy collaborating with therapists, psychologists and developmental pediatricians to help improve patient’s lives. I understand it can be especially daunting to patients and families alike when they are faced with unique challenges that may involve seeing multiple medical specialists.
Outside of work, I’m a big believer in balance — you’ll often find me checking out the new coffee shop in town, obsessing over my daughters or trying out a new food recipe at home.
